Tchabua Patchkoria | Piano

Tchabua Patchkoria is a concert pianist, piano teacher, and chamber music coach currently pursuing a master’s degree in piano performance at the Sibelius Academy.

His journey with music and dance began in childhood. Although he started piano lessons relatively late at the age of thirteen, he quickly developed a deep passion for the instrument. At the same time, he also began learning the violin. After two years of studying both instruments, he chose to focus solely on the piano, which became his lifelong passion.

In addition to his musical pursuits, he was an active participant in a Georgian folk dance ensemble and attended a chess school.

Tchabua’s formal music education began in his hometown and continued at the 1st Central Music School in Tbilisi. He then attended the V. Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire, where he completed his bachelor’s degree. In 2022, he was awarded a scholarship to study at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in Vilnius. Now, at the Sibelius Academy, he is dedicated to further refining his skills and expanding his musical horizons.
