Manca Kumar | Soprano

Manca Kumar is a Slovenian soprano currently completing her Master’s studies in Vocal Arts at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. She has performed at prestigious festivals such as the Ljubljana Festival and Festival Internacional de Santander, collaborating with renowned conductors and musicians. She was also the youngest finalist at the Gustav Mahler Competition, further establishing her presence on the international stage.

Her recent performances include Tippett’s A Child of Our Time at Musiikkitalo in Helsinki and Nino Rota’s I Due Timidi in Geneva. A recipient of the Hans Wilsdorf Scholarship, she continues to develop a versatile repertoire spanning opera, oratorio, and art song while working with leading artists in masterclasses and productions.
