Musician Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to VIR2OSO! These Terms and Conditions apply to all musicians (referred to as “you” or “musician”) using the VIR2OSO platform.

By offering your services through VIR2OSO, you agree to the following terms, which form a legally binding contract when bookings are made via the platform.


2. Definitions

  • “Client” – A person or group booking your services through VIR2OSO.
  • “Event” – The scheduled performance or service you provide for the client.

3. Booking Process

  • When a client sends a Booking Request, musician has the option to accept or decline the request. Once accepted, the event date and time are reserved for 2 days.
  • The booking will be confirmed when the client makes full payment within these 2 days. If payment is not received within 2 days, the booking will be automatically canceled, and the date/time will be made available for others.
  • Musicians must ensure all communications regarding the booking are conducted through VIR2OSO’s messaging system to maintain documentation and platform support.

4. Payments and Fees

  • Payments for your services will be available once the event has concluded, but you must request a Payout through the VIR2OSO platform.
  • VIR2OSO charges a 15% commision fee per successful booking, deducted from your total payment.
  • Upon requesting a payout, the payment will be processed via VIR2OSO’s payment provider and transferred to your designated account within 5 business days.
  • All fees, including your Performance Fee and any additional expenses, must be agreed upon through the VIR2OSO platform before the booking is confirmed.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Client Cancellations

If a client cancels a booking, the amount of the Performance fee you are entitled to retain depends on when the cancellation is made:

  • More Than 30 Days Before the Event:
    • The client will receive a FULL REFUND minus any non-refundable expenses (such as transaction fees), and the musician will not retain any portion of the Performance Fee.
  • Between 7 and 30 Days Before the Event:
    • You will retain 50% of the Performance Fee.
  • Within 7 Days of the Event:
    • You will retain 100% of the Performance Fee.

Free Cancellations

  • Clients can cancel within 48 hours of making the booking and receive a ful refund, with no portion of the fee retained by the musician, provided the event is more than 48 hours away.
  • If the cancellation occurs within the 48 hours of the booking and the event start time, the musician will retain 50% of the Performance Fee.

6. Force Majeure Cancellations

In cases where the event cannot take place due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, war, or other events outside the control of either party), the contract will be considered null and void, and the cancellation policy will not apply.

  • If a force majeure event occurs, VIR2OSO will assist in resolving any payment disputes, but cannot enforce the transfer of funds.

7. Musician Cancellations

If you, as the musician, cancel a confirmed booking:

  • You must notify the client as soon as possible through the VIR2OSO platform.
  • VIR2OSO will assist the client in finding a replacement musician of comparable quality and style.
  • If a suitable replacement cannot be found, the client will receive a full refund, and you will not receive any payment for the canceled event.

Consequences of Repeated Musician Cancellations:

  • Frequent or unjustified cancellations may lead to penalties, including:
    • Reduced visibility on the VIR2OSO platform.
    • Temporary suspension of your account.
    • In severe cases, permanent removal from the VIR2OSO platform.
  • VIR2OSO reserves the right to determine the severity of the cancellation and take appropriate action to maintain platform integrity.

8. Changes to Booking Details

If a client needs to change the date, time, or location of an event:

  • Any changes must be communicated through VIR2OSO and agreed upon by the musician.
  • If you are unable to accommodate the new event details, the change will be treated as a client cancellation, and the relevant refund policy will apply.

9. Payments Made Outside of VIR2OSO

  • If the client pays you directly via bank transfer or cash, those payments are not covered by the VIR2OSO cancellation policy.
  • You are responsible for establishing your own cancellation terms with the client for any payments made outside the VIR2OSO platform, as VIR2OSO cannot enforce these agreements.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of any disputes related to cancellations or payments, VIR2OSO will act as a mediator between the musician and the client.
  • If the dispute cannot be resolved through mediation, VIR2OSO reserves the right to make a final decision, which both parties agree to abide by.
