Client Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to VIR2OSO!
By booking through VIR2OSO, you agree to the following terms. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they form a legally binding agreement between you (the “Client”) and the musician(s) you book through VIR2OSO.
2. Definitions
- “Musician” – A solo artist or group offering performance services through Vir2oso.
- “Event” – The scheduled performance or service provided by the musician for the client.
3. Booking Process and Reservation
- When you submit a booking request, the artist has the opportunity to accept your booking. Once the artist accepts, the requested event date and time are temporarily reserved for you for a period of 2 days.
- To confirm the booking, you must complete the full payment within this 2-day window. If payment is not received within this time, the booking will be automatically canceled, and the date/time will become available for other clients to book.
- All communications regarding the booking should be conducted through the VIR2OSO messaging system to ensure proper documentation.
4. Payment Terms
- Full payment is required to confirm the booking.
- Payments are securely processed via Vir2oso’s payment provider, STRIPE.
- All payments must be made through the Vir2oso platform. Payments made outside the platform are not covered by Vir2oso’s terms or protections.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Client Cancellations
- Cancellations must be made through the platform by using the CANCEL button.
- Refunds are based on the cancellation timing:
- More than 30 days before the event: Full refund (minus any transaction fees).
- Between 7 and 30 days before the event: 50% refund of the Performance Fee.
- Within 7 days of the event: No refund.
Musician Cancellations
- If the musician cancels, clients will receive a full refund or be offered a replacement musician (if available).
Free Cancellations
- Clients may cancel within 48 hours of submitting a booking request for a full refund, provided the event is more than 48 hours away.
- If the cancellation occurs withing 48 hours of the booking and the event, the client will be eligible for a 50% refund.
6. Force Majeure
Neither the client nor the musician will be held liable for cancellations due to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, pandemics, government restrictions, war, or any other events beyond the control of either party. In such cases, VIR2OSO will work with both parties to find a suitable resolution, which may include rescheduling or a refund.
7. Changes to Booking Details
- Any changes to the event’s date, time, or location must be communicated through VIR2OSO and agreed upon by the musician.
- If the musician cannot accommodate the new details, the change will be treated as a cancellation, and the Client Cancellation Terms will apply.
8. No-Show Policy
- If the client does not show up or the event does not take place without prior cancellation, the full payment will be retained by the musician, and no refund will be issued.
9. Dispute Resolution
- In case of any disputes regarding the booking, clients should contact Vir2oso immediately.
- Vir2oso will act as a mediator between the client and the musician.
- If the dispute cannot be resolved, Vir2oso reserves the right to make a final decision.
10. Limitation of Liability
- Vir2oso acts solely as a facilitator between clients and musicians. The platform is not responsible for the performance of the musician or any damages, injuries, or losses that may occur during the event.
- Vir2oso does not guarantee the suitability, quality, or punctuality of the musicians. Clients are encouraged to ensure that event conditions are safe and appropriate for the musician’s performance.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Finland, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Finland.
