David Seixas | Violin

David Seixas is a gifted young violinist from Portugal who has collaborated with many internationally renowned orchestras and has received several important solo and chamber music awards. David’s first solo CD, Serene Bach, was released worldwide on the American label Centaur Records in 2021.
The Portuguese magazine, Revista Intro, has selected Serene Bach as one of the best releases of 2021 noting, “A virtuoso violinist, he grasps the more appealing compositions of the immortal Bach with a confidence and accuracy in the sonatas and the partitas that invite hours of repeated listening.”

Since 2021, David has been living in Finland where he graduated his Masters degree – Violin performance in the prestigious Sibelius Academy, Finland with soloist and professor Sirkka-Liisa Kaakinen.

David has performed in prominent venues including Grand Auditorium of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Altice Arena, Grand Auditorium of Europarque, Theatro Circo, Casa da Música, Palácio da Bolsa, Teatro das Figuras, Teatro Comunale di Ferrara, Musiikkitalo.
