Cellomania | Cello Duo

Top Finnish cellists Jaani Helander and Lukas Stasevskij formed Cellomania to expand the boundaries and limits of the cello so they could play the music they love. The duo plays pop, rock, film and game music, and Helander’s original compositions. Their debut album Mania Unleashed from 2021 was met with excited response from the press and audiences alike.
Cellomania performs as a duo, but can be extended to a four-member band with Ginette artist Petteri Mäkiniemi and electro artist Tuomas Ahva. When the whole group joins forces, the outcome is a display of rhythmic fireworks accompanied by a one-of-a-kind soundscape.
Helander and Stasevskij also love to entertain the audience with their humoristic speaks, it is a profound part of the Cellomania-experience.
