Jaani Helander | Cello

Jaani Helander is a member of the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, and he teaches cello at the Sibelius Academy and the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. He is the founder and Artistic Director of the Helsinki Chamber Music Festival, and the founding member of the popular cello duo Cellomania. Helander has also been a successful composer since 2020.

Helander is at home in any genre of music, and has made several arrangements for cello of different music styles. He has an extensive experience in entertaining the public also verbally during his concerts in Finnish, Swedish, English and German. More info at jaanihelander.com
